On-Site Sitter for Siblings

I am arranging to have a trustworthy teenager here in my home to take care of siblings during classes when parents attend. The siblings would be in the family room upstairs from my basement studio during class. Each parent would pay the teenager $1-2 per child. My hope is to help parents and make it worthwhile for the teenager. Who is the teenager? I have 11 and 13 year old sons who are GREAT with our twins and could work together. I also have several options of girls in the neighborhood ranging in age from 11-14 if parents feel more comfortable with a girl sitter. Please email me or indicate on your registration form if you are interested in using this option and if you have a preference (boy or girl) of sitter.

*Please Note: Young babies in infant seats are welcome to class with parents.

2014 Recitals

We had a lovely recital.  Thank you to Mike and Melanie for opening your home to us. All the students performed their compositions with courage and polish.  Congratulations to each of you and your parents for your hard work and persistence! Spring Recital Highlights

It has been about a month since our recital and I have LOVED watching and re-watching the expressions of concentration and happiness on these children's faces. I am proud of how respectfully our class stood on their blue dots. I love to see them anticipate the next character sound in the puppet show, jump right in with their Solfeg hand signs on "Are You Sleeping", and their enthusiasum to show their bug cards in the Bug Chant. Yay for our Jungle Rhythm! Enjoy the exerpts from our recital, but know I am a music teacher not a techie! Extra thanks to Marnie Christensen and Leslie Nelson, LPM teachers who collaborated with me on the recital. What a joy for me to work with them!
